Tube Cut-Off Stop Assemblies

Manual or Automatic Feeding

Match the stop assembly to your production: hands-on control, or a prox-sensor cycle that keeps pace with the operator.

/ 01

Manual Tube Stop

The operator pushes the tube to the stop and presses the foot switch on the punch press to cycle the die. Simple, repeatable, and fully operator-controlled.

/ 02

Automatic Tube Stop

Pushing the tube to the stop automatically cycles the press and cuts the tube — repeating as long as the operator keeps feeding tube. Set up with a prox sensor.

/ 03

Special Applications

Dies for cutting and trimming bent tubular parts after bending, with air toggle slide clamp assemblies for safe, easy loading and unloading of bent tubes.

Built In-House

Every cut-off die is designed and built by Innovo's tool and die shop in the USA — matched to your tube, shape, and punch press.

Special Applications

Cut & Trim Bent Tubular Parts

Beyond straight cut-off, Innovo builds dies for special applications — cutting and trimming bent tubular parts after the bending process, including angle cut-off.

These dies come with special air toggle slide clamp-up assemblies for safe and easy loading and unloading of bent tubes — so even complex bent geometry is handled cleanly and repeatably.

Frequently Asked

Cut-Off Dies, Answered

What is a tube cut-off die?
A tube cut-off die is press tooling that cleanly cuts tube and pipe to length on a punch press. Innovo's cut-off dies cut a full range of rounds, squares, rectangles, and special shapes up to the capacity of the largest round for the selected model.
What sizes do Innovo cut-off dies handle?
Innovo offers five models — D100CO through D600CO — covering round capacities from 1" to 6" diameter, plus square, rectangular, and special shapes that fit within that capacity.
What is the difference between manual and automatic tube stop assemblies?
With a manual tube stop, the operator pushes the tube to the stop and presses the foot switch to cycle the die. With an automatic tube stop, controlled by a prox sensor, pushing the tube to the stop automatically cycles the press and cuts the tube, repeating as long as the operator keeps feeding tube.
Can Innovo cut-off dies trim bent tubes?
Yes. Innovo manufactures cut-off dies for special applications such as cutting and trimming bent tubular parts after bending, with special air toggle slide clamp assemblies for safe, easy loading and unloading of bent tubes.
What press do Innovo cut-off dies require?
Cut-off dies run in a punch press. Each model lists its stroke and shut height — for example, the D100CO needs a 3" stroke and 7.5" shut height — so you can match the die to your press.
