Rebuilds, Retrofits, Tooling & Sample Runs

The machine is the start of the relationship, not the end of it. Innovo rebuilds and retrofits dies and machines — including ones built by other shops — supplies changeover tooling, installs and trains, and runs your tube on your finished machine for a run-off you approve before it ships.

What We Do After the Sale

Four Ways Innovo Keeps Production Running

/ 01

Rebuilds & Retrofits

Worn or orphaned dies and machines restored to print or retrofitted for a new part — whether Innovo built them or another shop did.

/ 02

Changeover & Replacement Tooling

Tooling sets for a new tube size, notch profile, or hole pattern on an existing Innovo machine. Built in the same shop as the machine.

/ 03

Run-Off Approval Before Shipment

Near the end of your build, we run your tube on your machine and send you the finished parts and measured cycle time. You approve before it ships.

/ 04

Installation & Training

Installation, commissioning, and operator training so the machine runs at rate on your floor with your people.

Rebuilds & Retrofits

Other Shops' Dies and Machines, Back in Production

A lot of good tooling is sitting idle because the shop that built it closed, the part changed, or the die simply wore out. Innovo has rebuilt and retrofitted dies and machines built by other die shops and machine builders — tube notching dies, piercing dies, cut-off dies, and the machines they run in.

The evaluation is plain: we look at the tool, tell you whether a rebuild, a retrofit, or a replacement is the sound choice, and quote it. When the answer is close, we quote both and let you decide.

  • Restore worn or damaged dies to print
  • Retrofit for a new tube size, profile, or pattern
  • Replacement details, clamp blocks, and punches
  • Machines and dies from builders no longer in business

Run-Off & Acceptance

You Approve the Parts Before the Machine Ships

The question behind every machine purchase is "will it work on our tube?" Innovo answers it before the machine leaves the building. Near the end of the build, we run your tube on your machine or die and send you the finished parts and the measured cycle time. You check fit, finish, and rate, and acceptance is based on what you inspected. Because every machine is built to order, the run-off happens on your equipment rather than on a stock machine before purchase.

  • Run on your machine or die, before it ships
  • Finished parts sent to you for inspection and approval
  • Measured cycle time and parts-per-hour reported for sign-off
  • Applies to notching, piercing, cut-off, and fence tooling

Tooling & Start-Up

Keep the Machine, Change the Part

An Innovo machine is a platform. Tooling sets and training are how it stays useful as your parts change.

/ 01

Changeover Tooling Sets

A new tube OD, wall, notch profile, or hole pattern on an existing H237DN, piercing machine, cut-off die, or fence machine is a tooling set — quoted from the machine model and the new part spec.

/ 02

Replacement Tooling

Punches, clamp blocks, and wear details built to the original drawings, so the machine returns to print rather than to "close enough."

/ 03

Installation & Commissioning

Set-up on your floor, run-off at rate, and hand-off to your operators.

/ 04

Operator Training

Loading, changeover, and routine care, taught on your machine with your parts.

Frequently Asked

Rebuilds, Tooling & Support, Answered

Does Innovo service machines it didn't build?
Yes. Innovo rebuilds and retrofits dies and machines originally built by other shops, including equipment whose original builder is no longer in business. Send the machine or die details and the part it produces, and Innovo will evaluate it and quote a rebuild, retrofit, or replacement.
Can I get tooling to run a different tube size on my Innovo machine?
Yes. Innovo builds replacement and changeover tooling sets for its notching, piercing, cut-off, and fencing machines so an existing machine can run a new tube size, notch profile, or hole pattern. Quote with the machine model and the new part specification.
Will I see parts from my machine before it ships?
Yes. Before your machine or die ships, Innovo runs your tube or material on it and provides the finished parts and measured cycle time for your approval. You accept the machine based on parts you have inspected. Because Innovo builds to order, this run-off happens on your machine near the end of the build rather than on stock equipment before purchase.
Does Innovo install and train?
Yes. Innovo provides installation, commissioning, and operator training for the machines it builds, so the machine runs at rate on your floor with your people.
How do I start a rebuild or retrofit?
Call 847-616-0063 or use the contact page with the machine or die model, its builder if known, photos, and the part it runs. An Innovo engineer will tell you whether a rebuild, a retrofit, or a replacement makes more sense and quote it.

Have a Die or Machine That Needs Attention?

Tell us the model, the builder if you know it, and the part it runs. An Innovo engineer will evaluate it and quote the right fix.
